Halloween in Valencia 2026: Best Parties, Events & Things to Do
Halloween in Valencia isn’t Fallas.
It isn’t 9 d’Octubre.
And you won’t wake up on 31 October to find the entire city transformed into one enormous traditional festival.
But if you’re looking for a night out?
Valencia takes Halloween seriously.
And 2026 should be particularly lively because 31 October falls on a Saturday.
Clubs are preparing special nights, afternoon parties begin long before midnight, horror experiences are appearing around the city and some venues are turning Halloween into a complete experience with dinner, entertainment and dancing.
The good news is that you don’t have to celebrate it one particular way.
You can dress up and dance until sunrise.
You can start with dinner and let the night develop naturally.
You can spend the evening beside the Mediterranean.
You can disappear into a horror passage.
Or you can skip the clubs completely and discover the older Valencian traditions connected with the night before Todos los Santos.
So rather than giving you a random list of Halloween parties, here’s how we would choose.
Does Valencia Celebrate Halloween?
Yes — increasingly so.
Modern Halloween in Valencia is mostly about nightlife, costumes, themed parties and entertainment rather than one official city-centre celebration.
And there is plenty happening.
Current event listings already show dozens of Halloween events around Valencia for 31 October 2026, ranging from mainstream clubs to techno, beach venues, drag shows and afternoon parties. Discoruta
But before choosing where to go, decide what kind of night you actually want.
That makes a much bigger difference than simply asking:
“What’s the best Halloween party in Valencia?”
🎭 Our Pick: Alegal – Halloween That Starts Before the Club
If we were recommending one option to visitors who want more than simply turning up at a nightclub after midnight, we’d start with Alegal.
And this year they’re not treating Halloween as just another Saturday.
Alegal has already announced two Halloween concepts for Saturday, 31 October:
Halloween – The Masquerade during the afternoon and earlier part of the day.
Then:
Halloween – Fromageclub for the night. Alegal
That immediately makes Alegal interesting because you don’t have to organise your evening as:
restaurant → taxi → drinks → another taxi → nightclub.
You can start in one place and let the evening change around you.
That’s one of the reasons we like the concept.
Why We’d Choose Alegal
Alegal combines restaurant, cocktails, entertainment and nightlife in the same venue.
On a normal weekend, Saturdays already move from lunch and tardeo into evening entertainment and club atmosphere. The venue normally runs afternoon parties before moving into late-night sessions, rather than functioning only as a traditional nightclub. Alegal
For Halloween, that format makes even more sense.
Come earlier.
Eat.
Have a drink.
Enjoy the atmosphere.
And if everyone wants to keep going?
You’re already there.
For couples and groups in their 30s and 40s in particular, we think this can be much more enjoyable than spending the entire evening waiting for a nightclub to become busy at 01:30.
Best for: dinner + nightlife, couples, groups, 30s & 40s, people who enjoy tardeo, and anyone who wants the evening to develop naturally.
Booking Alegal Through Travel to Valencia
We work directly with Alegal and can help arrange restaurant reservations, advance tickets, guestlist and VIP tables, subject to availability.
Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, so if Alegal is your choice, we would reserve rather than leave it until the night itself.
Tell us your group size and whether you want dinner, tardeo, the night party or the full experience, and we’ll help you choose.
🌊 Marina Beach Club – Halloween Beside the Mediterranean
If Alegal is our pick for a night that begins around the table, Marina Beach Club is one of our favourites when the setting matters just as much as the party.
Halloween at Marina Beach Club is already confirmed for Saturday, 31 October, running from 21:00 until 05:00.
The announced programme includes Freyja, Luigii Nieto and Saldivar in Marina Club, with additional DJs and different sounds across the venue. Fourvenues
And the location gives it something most traditional clubs simply don’t have.
You’re beside the Mediterranean.
Marina is normally a beach-club environment with pool areas, sunbeds, restaurants and nightlife, so even when the focus shifts to the party, it still feels very different from walking into a dark indoor club. Marina Beach Club Valencia
This would be one of our first alternatives to Alegal if someone told us:
“We want to party, but we want somewhere that feels like Valencia.”
That combination of music, Marina atmosphere and sea makes it particularly attractive for visitors.
Best for: waterfront nightlife, couples, groups, DJs and people who prefer a beach-club atmosphere.
Our tip: if Marina is your choice, check the entry conditions carefully. Different tickets can have different permitted entry times, and leaving the venue can mean needing another ticket to return. Fourvenues
🏙️ Mya & L’Umbracle – The Big Valencia Club Experience
Want something bigger?
Then look towards the City of Arts and Sciences.
Both Mya and L’Umbracle already have Halloween sessions listed for Saturday, 31 October. We Are Valencia
This is one of Valencia’s most recognisable nightlife settings.
Mya gives you the classic late-night club experience, while L’Umbracle adds the dramatic outdoor setting beside the City of Arts and Sciences.
If you’re visiting Valencia for the first time, there is something undeniably fun about finishing your day partying beside one of the city’s most famous landmarks.
We would put this higher on the list for younger groups who want a proper Saturday club night rather than dinner and entertainment.
Best for: younger groups, dancing, mainstream nightlife and an iconic Valencia setting.
🌊 Akuarela Playa – A Proper Beachside Club Night
Akuarela is another familiar name in Valencia nightlife, particularly if you’re staying near Cabanyal, Malvarrosa or the beach.
A Halloween session is already listed for 31 October, with the night beginning around midnight. Discoruta
This is less:
dinner → cocktails → see where the night goes
and more:
arrive late → music → dancing → stay out.
If that’s exactly what you want, there’s nothing wrong with it.
Best for: younger groups, late-night dancing and people staying near Valencia’s beach area.
🔥 Spook – If Halloween Means Techno
Not everybody wants commercial hits.
And if your answer to:
“What kind of Halloween night do you want?”
is simply:
“Techno.”
then look at Spook.
Spook’s Halloween programme already lists Cassie Raptor, DYEN, A.N.I. and a much larger lineup across the night, with techno, hard techno and other electronic styles. Resident Advisor
This is not the place we would recommend simply because somebody says they want to “go out”.
There are easier options for that.
We recommend Spook when the music itself is one of the main reasons you’re going.
Best for: techno fans, harder electronic music and serious clubbing.
🖤 Barraca – Halloween for People Who Aren’t Planning an Early Morning
Barraca is another Valencia institution with a very different audience from Marina or Mya.
Its Halloween collaboration with theBasement is confirmed for 31 October, with multiple stages and a long electronic programme. Barraca’s own event listing describes a Halloween festival running from afternoon through the following morning, while Resident Advisor lists artists including Perc, HearThug and others. Resident Advisor
One thing tourists need to understand:
Barraca is in Sueca, not central Valencia.
So this needs planning.
Don’t finish dinner in the Old Town and assume you’ll simply wander over.
Sort out transport before you go.
And probably don’t plan a 09:00 walking tour the next morning.
Best for: dedicated clubbers, techno/house audiences and people who genuinely want a long night.
🎃 Don’t Want to Wait Until Midnight? Halloween Tardeo Exists Too
One of the best things about Valencia nightlife is that you don’t always have to wait until 01:00.
Tardeo means starting earlier — drinks, music and socialising during the afternoon that gradually develops into the evening.
And Halloween is a very good excuse for it.
There are already Halloween tardeo sessions appearing around areas such as Cánovas, including events specifically targeting an older-than-student crowd. Discoruta
This can be a much better option if you enjoy nightlife but your definition of a successful evening doesn’t involve returning to the hotel at 07:00.
And of course, Alegal’s The Masquerade gives us another strong daytime/afternoon Halloween option before their night programme begins. Alegal
😱 Want Halloween, Not Just a Club With Pumpkins?
There’s a big difference between:
going clubbing on Halloween
and
going to a Halloween experience.
If you want the second, take a look at The Halloween Horror Show: Proyecto Eclipse in Benicalap.
The event runs on 30 and 31 October and combines a 170-metre horror passage, dinner show, costume competition and DJ party until 03:00.
The published price is currently €42 per person, with the event designed for ages 16+. Halloween Valencia
We like this option for groups who want Halloween itself to be the main attraction.
You arrive.
The evening is organised.
You do the horror experience.
You eat.
You watch the entertainment.
Then you finish with the party.
No need to spend the night travelling between several places.
Best for: groups, couples, costume fans and people who want more than a conventional nightclub.
💃 Something Different: Halloween Drag
Another option that fits Halloween particularly well is La Familia Drag at Deseo 54.
The 2026 Halloween edition is confirmed for 31 October from 18:00 to 23:00, with 12 drag performances and a themed opening show. Fourvenues
If another mainstream club sounds boring, this gives you a very different evening.
And because it finishes at 23:00, it doesn’t necessarily have to be the end of your night.
Valencia will barely be getting started.
👨👩👧 Is Halloween in Valencia Good for Families?
Halloween in Valencia isn’t only about clubs.
Family programmes usually appear across cultural spaces, neighbourhood activities, attractions and destinations throughout October.
One of the larger confirmed programmes this year is at Terra Natura and Aqua Natura, where Halloween activities begin from 9 October and include themed shows and a horror experience, with special programming around 24 and 31 October and 1 November. Cadena SER
Just remember that this is near Benidorm, not Valencia city, so treat it as a day trip rather than a central Valencia activity.
For families staying in Valencia itself, we’d check the city programme again closer to 31 October as more neighbourhood, museum and cultural activities are published.
👻 Halloween Isn’t the Whole Story: Nit de les Ànimes
Here’s something visitors often don’t know.
Halloween may feel like an imported celebration, but Valencian culture already has its own traditions associated with the night before Tots Sants — Todos los Santos.
One of them is the Nit de les Ànimes, the Night of the Souls.
Traditional Valencian beliefs associated this period with remembering the dead and with deceased relatives symbolically returning home. Candles were lit in their memory and to guide them back. Valencian public broadcaster À Punt describes these customs as a deeply rooted local tradition around Tots Sants. À Punt
And Valencia has its own collection of creatures from traditional folklore too:
Butoni, Quarantamaula, Cuca Fera and others that were frightening Valencian children long before anyone here was dressing up as Freddy Krueger. À Punt
So while modern Halloween nightlife is international, the Valencian relationship with stories about spirits, monsters and the dead is much older.
That’s one of those little details we think makes travelling more interesting.
🕯️ What Happens on 1 November?
The atmosphere changes considerably the following day.
1 November is Todos los Santos — All Saints’ Day.
For many Spanish families, this is traditionally associated with remembering relatives who have died and visiting cemeteries.
Valencia’s municipal cemeteries introduce special arrangements around Todos los Santos because of the significant increase in visitors. Valencia
So you can experience quite a contrast over one weekend:
31 October: costumes, DJs, dancing and Halloween.
1 November: a much quieter traditional day of remembrance.
Both now coexist.
So Where Would We Go?
This depends entirely on the evening.
If we wanted dinner, entertainment and a party without constantly changing venues, we’d start with Alegal.
If we wanted the Mediterranean, DJs and a more glamorous waterfront setting, we’d choose Marina Beach Club.
For a big mainstream club night, Mya or L’Umbracle.
For beachside late-night clubbing, Akuarela.
For techno, Spook.
For a long serious electronic session, Barraca.
And if the goal was really Halloween itself rather than the nightclub, we’d consider the Halloween Horror Show.
That’s why we don’t think there is one “best Halloween party in Valencia”.
There’s a best one for the night you want.
Our Ideal Halloween Night in Valencia
If friends were visiting us and wanted a good night without spending six hours inside one nightclub, we’d probably keep it simple.
Start with dinner.
And because Halloween falls on Saturday this year, book the restaurant.
Then either stay at Alegal and let The Masquerade / Fromageclub take the evening from dinner towards nightlife, or head towards Marina if you want the Mediterranean setting.
At around midnight, make the decision.
Having a great time?
Stay.
Want a bigger club?
Head towards Mya.
Want techno?
Go to Spook — although we’d have planned that choice beforehand rather than deciding after three cocktails.
The point is:
don’t schedule every fifteen minutes.
Halloween should still feel like a night out.
Do You Need a Costume?
Not necessarily.
Different events have different policies, and many Halloween club sessions allow normal club clothing as well as costumes.
Some experiences actively encourage dressing up and run costume competitions; others are essentially regular nightlife events with Halloween decoration, production and entertainment.
Our advice?
If you want to dress up, do it.
You definitely won’t be the only one.
But always check the exact entrance conditions and dress code of the event you choose before arriving.
Book Earlier Than You Normally Would
This year, we would take reservations more seriously than usual.
31 October 2026 is a Saturday.
Marina Beach Club already has some promotional Halloween ticket categories marked as sold out weeks before the event. Fourvenues
And across Valencia, many Halloween tickets operate in pricing stages, with prices increasing as earlier allocations disappear. Discoruta
So if there is one venue you definitely want:
reserve it.
You can keep the rest of the night spontaneous.
But don’t leave the one thing you really care about until 23:45 on Halloween Saturday.
Is Halloween in Valencia Worth It?
If you’re already going to be in Valencia at the end of October?
Yes.
Not because Halloween is one of Valencia’s great traditional fiestas.
It isn’t.
Come for Fallas or 9 d’Octubre if you want that.
Halloween is different.
It’s a night when the city’s already strong nightlife scene gets an excuse to become more theatrical, more playful and considerably busier.
You can start with dinner.
Dance beside the Mediterranean.
Spend the night listening to techno.
Walk through a horror passage.
Dress up completely.
Or not dress up at all.
Halloween in Valencia isn’t about one event. It’s about choosing the night that suits you.
And that’s exactly how we think Valencia nightlife should be enjoyed.
