Don’t come to Granadella with only a towel.
If you enjoy being in the water, bring a snorkelling mask.
The rocky coastline and clear water make Granadella particularly enjoyable for exploring beneath the surface.
You don’t need to be an experienced diver.
Even staying relatively close to the cove can give you a completely different perspective of the coastline.

Granadella isn’t only beautiful from sea level.
The surrounding landscape offers impressive views over the bay and coastline.
If you enjoy walking and the conditions are suitable, combine your time in the water with a little exploration above the cove.
Looking down at that turquoise bay from the surrounding landscape gives you the photograph that explains why you came.
Our tip: In the hotter months, don’t underestimate the Mediterranean sun. Save serious walking for cooler conditions.
🍽️ Have Lunch by the Sea
Eventually, you’re going to need to leave the water.
Make lunch part of the experience rather than something to rush through.
Sit down, order something cold to drink and enjoy being on the Costa Blanca.
There is no tour group waiting for you to finish.
And nobody in your group has to worry about driving back to Valencia.

Go early – especially in summer.
Granadella’s beauty is also its biggest problem.
It’s a small cove, and popular days can become busy.
Starting earlier gives you more time to enjoy the water before the day reaches its busiest and hottest point.
And bring water shoes.
Granadella isn’t the kind of soft sandy beach where we’d want to arrive barefoot with nothing but a towel.
